In 1824, the Duke of Wellington famously snapped, “Publish and be damned!” when threatened with scandal. Those words have echoed through history, and they’ve always resonated with me.

Ever since I wrote my first short story at eight years old, I’ve had the same drive: to write boldly, whatever the consequences. Fourteen years ago, my first novel, Operation Werwolf, was published. Since then, almost 30,000 readers worldwide have downloaded my books. Not bad for an indie author with no agent, no big publisher, and no marketing budget.

But here’s the truth: indie authors everywhere face the same wall. Writing is hard, but being read is harder. Without marketing and publishing support, too many stories never see the light of day.

That’s why I created Brittle Media Ltd, a publishing house built by an indie author, for indie authors. With over a decade of experience writing, editing, designing, and publishing, I’ve laid the foundations. We have a registered business, a London office, and a growing team of indie editors and designers ready to help others break through the glass ceiling.
