In the 25th century, humans are colonising the solar system, only to discover war awaits their tentative steps towards the stars. Gideon Prime infiltrates the Draxtyr’s flagship, the Dominator. During a cataclysmic encounter with the Draxtyr’s War-General, Vastos Kel, an ancient artifact hidden in Kel’s flagship, erupts with cosmic energy. Time itself is shattered.
Vastos Kel awakens in a military field hospital in 1916 France, rescued from the blood-soaked trenches, stranded and wounded. Haunted by memories he thought long buried, Kel begins a brutal climb back to power, using the chaos of World War I as a foundation for a new empire.
Gideon Prime is hurled into an alternate 1944, where the Nazis have won World War II. The world is under Nazi control and the USA, the last outpost of freedom, is about to be overrun and ruled by the dark forces of Nazism. Oppression reigns. Resistance is sporadic and some welcome the opportunity the Nazis bring for self-enrichment. The world teeters on the brink of a frightening era of global tyranny.
Across fractured timelines and broken realities, two enemies seek control of the future. One fights for the survival of the human race. The other, domination over all humanity.
