Operation Werwolf: Hitler’s Revenge
About
Operation Werwolf - World War II Action/Adventure
Germany is being defeated on all fronts, but for the Allies, the war in Europe is not won. Hitler launches Operation Werwolf and groups of fanatical soldiers, both young and old, are the Nazi’s only hope of instigating a daring plan to destroy London and New York with Hitler’s latest wonder weapons. The leader of one Nazi Werwolf group is determined to do whatever is necessary to tip the balance of power in the Fatherland’s favour.
Otto Hansch, a product of the Nazi Youth, and his group of boy fanatics, kill their way across Austria in order to deliver their precious cargo to a secret Nazi stronghold.
Described by a reader as ”Where Eagles Dare meets Operation Crossbow,” there are certainly similarities between these two classic World War Two films and Operation Werwolf.
This work of historical fiction, an action adventure book, asks the question, did the Nazis develop a nuclear weapon during World War 2? And if so, what would have happened if they had a means to deliver the weapon?
Synopsis for Operation Werwolf:
The story is set during the closing stages of World War 2 and follows an Allied specialist operations team working behind German lines. The team discover a terrifying secret, Hitler’s final revenge weapon is set to destroy London and New York.
With only forty-eight hours to find and destroy the weapon, the team are facing fanatical Nazi Werwolf troops. But are the American or Soviet Colonels led by a British Major working to their own agenda?
Notes From The Author:
Operation Werwolf is an work of historical fiction, but has a basis in real events. My father was a part of a special operations team, led by a British army major, who had spent most of the war undercover in Germany, organising resistance groups. At the end of the war the team did, in fact, capture Odilo Globocnik, a leading Nazi party member, in Austria, who consequently committed suicide.
Notes On Nazi Secret Weapons:
The Nazis did indeed try to create an atomic bomb and Nazi scientists were working on a Top-Secret delivery system for such a weapon. A delivery system that conventional allied aircraft, even the new jet fighters, could not catch and that the British chain of radar stations would never detect, the Horten HO 229 jet fighter-bomber.
Recent developments have shown that the Nazis had a secret base where nuclear weapons research was carried out and that the Horten HO 229 had stealth capabilities. Put the two together and London or New York could well have been targets for a Nazi nuclear bomb.

Praise for this book
"I liked the setting, characters and story. I especially enjoyed Geshenko, Jamie and Petra. Wonderful end of Third Reich tale."
"I accidentally found the book while looking for another one, I'm glad I did. The book is a fiction, but written has if it really happen. There are so many things happening, that you really need to pay attention. The author hints about things not being what you think it is. Tom Kane does let you know, "what if the Nazis had a A-Bomb." The book goes from there. It isn't long book, but not quite a short story."
